PANEL 1:  Consolidation Package Challenges for Private Investing

Martin Chlebec, Director, M&A Tax / Deloitte
Martin is the Director of Tax and Legal Advisory at Deloitte Slovakia. His expertise includes corporate income tax, mergers and acquisitions, international taxation, and due diligence. He has extensive experience in providing comprehensive tax and accounting assistance in acquisitions, sales of companies, and corporate reorganizations. Martin collaborates with major clients, including leading Slovak and international companies from various industries.

Peter Pašek, Managing Director/Partner, Accace Slovakia / Co-founder, AceON Accelerator
Peter is a recognized expert in transaction and tax advisory. Throughout his long career, he has participated in multiple business sales, structured transactions, and represented companies in negotiations with investors. Since 2013, he has been managing Accace Slovakia, one of the largest consulting firms in the Slovak market, where he is also a partner. He is also one of the founders and partners of the family office InvAce, the civic association #accacelife, and the international startup program AceON Accelerator.

Jana Deverová, Senior Tax Manager / PWC Slovakia
Jana specializes in tax advisory for M&A transactions, transaction and investment structuring, tax reorganizations, due diligence, and international taxation for both local and internationally operating groups. Before joining PWC, she worked for several second-tier and Big 4 consulting firms. She is a member of the Methodological and Legislative Committee for Corporate Income Tax at the Slovak Chamber of Tax Advisors.

PANEL 2: Investment Vehicles: Investors vs. Lawyers

Igor Strečko, Owner & Managing Partner / Strecko Investments
Igor is a Slovak entrepreneur and investor. He founded and led the company Webglobe. In collaboration with Sandberg Capital, he consolidated the web hosting market in three CEE countries. After exiting Webglobe, he is now focused on realizing his vision of building a free society by supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, particularly in the Slovak and Czech markets.

Marián Porvažník, Co-founder / Sparring

Majo co-founded and leads Vacuum Group, one of the leading venture builders in the CEE region. Within this framework, he has been involved in the founding and investment of 15 projects with a global impact, including Vacuumlabs, SPOT, Sparring, and Trama. He contributes to the development of the ecosystem as a board member of SAPIE and as a member of the Slovak Government Council for Science, Technology, and Innovation. Majo holds an LLM (MJur) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford.
